Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations(LOLER) and Provision & Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER).
Both these regulations state that the owner of any lifting equipment for the purpose of lifting persons must comply with the following.
"All equipment must be inspected by a competent person at least every 6 months or more frequently if used in a hostile environment. A record of each inspection should be kept on file and readily available when requested."
Cobra Access engineers can carry out LOLER and PUWER inspections at your premises or place of work when required. A certificate will be issued if the equipment meets with all the relevant criteria within the legislation. Should any repairs be necessary we can arrange for these to be carried out and a certificate issued on completion.
Our engineers are also qualified to inspect your safety harnesses and lanyards which also require inspection and certification at least every twelve months.
Our computerised monitoring and maintenance schedule keeps all you records on file so all certificates are kept on our database for future reference. When your next inspection is due we will contact you to make arrangements for the next convenient time for us to visit.
